WINTER SURVIVAL KITS FOR HOMELESS VETERANS

MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE IN THE LIFE OF A HOMELESS VETERAN

Winter in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas can often be a very brutal time of the year for our homeless veterans. It is also a time of the year when donations for vital resources are needed the most. Last winter, we distributed over 400 Winter Survival Kits to our homeless and at-risk veterans, but with your help, we hope to double that amount this year. We have approximately 1500 homeless and at-risk veterans in the Maryland, Washington, DC, and Northern Virginia regions who need our care, compassion and support.

Here’s a question for you to answer: If you could place a Winter Survival Kit filled with warm gloves, socks, hats, scarves, a blanket, bottled water, toiletries, and nonperishable food directly into the hands of a homeless veteran, would you? Please do not let this opportunity and mercy mission pass you by. With your help and support, USASOA can continue to provide to replenish the vital resources and items needed to survive the coldest winter months in our region. It costs very little to give so much hope and love to a veteran who finds himself or herself on the streets of our nation for many reasons. We are not here to pass judgment but to help.
